I recently took my car in for servicing and got it back the same day. But after less than an hour, the problem reappeared. I took the car back, and after some delay, the issue was resolved. While I was collecting the vehicle the service associate informed me I would be receiving a survey, and asked if I would kindly give him a 9 or 10.
After sharing my story with friends, I realized that my experience was no exception, which prompted us to launch our own survey on the premium and luxury automotive segment. This inevitably led to the conclusion that CX measurement is flawed.

Here are 10 examples of customer experience innovation that transform the hospital to be more like a luxury hotel.

I often write my blog posts and articles whilst travelling on either a train or an aeroplane. Although I can also be found hunched over my laptop keyboard in hotel rooms at twilight hours, the confined space of a metal tube travelling at high speeds is the perfect environment for me to commit my thoughts into words.

The businesses that are best loved by customers tend to be ones that make them feel smart, competent, in control. This comes about thanks to thoughtful (read: easy to use) design choices, thoughtful hiring and training of employees, and other deployment of human effort, engagement, and judgment to make things easy for a customer-and difficult for a customer to make a mistake or suffer embarrassment.
