  2. Do you know where your customer data is?

If you’re like many marketers, your customer data is split across multiple systems and databases. In a Harvard Business Review survey, only 13% of executives had a unified view of their customer with a single source of customer intelligence to integrate the entire customer journey.

  6. In today’s competitive e-commerce environment, personalizing the customer experience is the number one priority: To drive conversion, the right message needs to be sent to the right person at the right time. How do you accomplish that? Increasingly, AI is emerging as the best way to offer a truly one-to-one experience to customers. A Gartner study notes that “by 2020, 85% of customer interactions will be managed without a human” and that by 2040, “more than 40% of all data analytics projects will relate to an aspect of customer experience.” So what does that look like?

  7. There have been cracks in the CX story. And now there is another article by a CX proponent, Charles Bennett of the Next Ten Years, Great Customer Experience does not always mean great business performance.

He goes on to say: “The theory says customer experience is proportional to revenue. At least that’s what “best practice” thinking has taught us. The better the customer experience the better the business result.

  10. User feedback software has been our preferred method for collecting customer feedback to bring our A/B testing to the next level. A/B Testing is a fundamental necessity to figure out how your customer responds to different sets of web pages and user interfaces. While the precise data and conversion information of an A/B test are incredibly valuable, we have found that combining them with direct user feedback can give even more insight for future tests you may have been unable to recognize without the user feedback. Determining and tweaking your design based on the user feedback data you receive is a fundamental step in any conversion rate optimization campaign.
